However, is the Open Vape Pen worth it? Is this a vaporizer you should buy? Do the Vapors really deliver on their promises?

In the hands of a professional – the Vapors do appear to have an appealing appearance. They are created by the leading manufacturer in the e-juice market, Smokto, and they have an extremely sleek look that is unrivaled. However, if you were to explain to a professional, or even a casual smoker what a vaporizer is, he or she would probably have no idea what you were talking about. It is actually quite simple to explain to someone who has never seen one. A vaporizer is basically a cigar like apparatus, that get heated and then holds liquid, or e-juice, in it.

The Vapors come in two major varieties – the Standard version, and the Deluxe model. The standard version is the smaller one, that can be used to enjoy the wonderful flavor of Flower Power, while still being able to take regular small sized pen cigars, and put them in the body of the vaporiser, where they sit waiting to be vaped. The Deluxe Vaporiser also features a nice little glass window on the side, which allows you to view the contents. There is also a nice two-inch thick cardboard stand that you can place your preloaded cartridge on, and it even comes with a USB cable to use it on a computer, or a laptop. All of these are powered by the specially designed, high quality, two.2 gram Vaping Cartridge Strains, which Smokto calls their “ultimate power source”.

In addition to the two-inch glass window on the side – there are also some other cool features. For example, most of the Strain boxes feature a zipper around the outside, so that you can quickly and easily remove the two inch thick cardboard tube inside, so that you can empty the contents into your tank. There are also some other cool features such as a water reservoir underneath the counter top, so that you don’t have to use a straw to drink the e-juice, since it is all held securely in the tank, with a little bit of air cushion. The reservoir also makes it very easy to keep clean. Lastly, the entire unit is protected by a stainless steel spring, which really makes the unit very safe to use, even in your home.

Although the vaporisers look a bit similar to a pen or pencils – they are actually very different. Pen style vaporisers, do not actually contain any plant material at all. Instead, these vaporizers use a special heating element to create vapour, similar to how a tea kettle works. But instead of boiling the kettle, your e-juice is instead heated to an extremely high temperature and then compressed. The plant material in the vaporiser is then burned away during the heating process.

When using your Vape Pod – it is recommended that you use one of the pre-filled cartridges that come with the device, which have been manufactured for both the iPhone and the iPad. Although the iPhone devices do require a different connector compared to the iPad, they also use a slightly different heating element, and therefore you may find that you don’t get the results that you were hoping for. Using pre-filled cartridges with your Open is also highly recommended, because of the safety features that are built into them.
