The Benefits Of CBD Oil

Benefits of CBD are endless if one decides to use this product as a dietary supplement for their health. Why? Because CBD is a plant-based substance that is derived from cannabis plants. It is a sort of fatty lipid, which are also the natural chemicals found in cannabis plants.

Although it comes only from cannabis plants – CBD does not produce any type of intoxicating effect or a high degree of euphoria. In fact, it is highly effective at reducing the signs and symptoms of nausea, lethargy and loss of appetite. In a recent study, one study found that CBD reduced the risk of having a fatal heart attack or stroke in children, and it can also reduce the risks of having aneurysms. Moreover, it has been known to improve alertness and increase brain function.

In one study found that patients – who were diagnosed with multiple sclerosis had significantly lower instances of depression, anxiety and stress when taking sativex, as compared to those who were not taking sativex. The reason behind this is that CBD has the ability to decrease the release of certain chemicals called neurotransmitters in the brain. When levels of these chemicals are decreased, it leads to a state of general calmness. Apart from reducing anxiety and depression, native also reduces the intensity of spasms that occur in multiple sclerosis patients.

In addition, in several human studies carried out on animals – CBD has also been found to alleviate symptoms of multiple sclerosis. In one study, CBD was able to reduce the number of relapses (returns of symptoms), in addition to the amount of pain felt by multiple sclerosis sufferers. In addition, the reduction of pain was found to be correlated with an increase in the level of CBD found in the body, which supports the idea that CBD can offer relief from pain by increasing the levels of chemicals like serotonin in the body.

There are other medicinal benefits of CBD – and they include treating some minor health issues. In one study carried out at the University of Illinois’ College of Medicine, patients taking CBD showed a reduction in nausea after taking Prozac (an anti-depressant). The researchers opined that CBD has similar effects on the brain as does Prozac, although the latter has fewer side effects. CBD has also been proven effective in treating sleep problems (a common condition suffered by most adults), anxiety, spasticity, seizures and more. While health experts are yet to come up with conclusive evidence on the benefits of CBD, the promising results of several studies done on CBD oil and its ingredients have shown promise as potential treatment options for various health issues.

For most of us who are still young at heart – cannabis is probably still considered the ‘gateway drug’, given that it allows us the freedom to experiment with the mind and the body without having to deal with the serious legal and social consequences that come with ingesting illegal drugs. And in this respect, we owe an enormous debt to our parents, who supported us in becoming teenagers, and who might have discovered for themselves that cannabis could provide a form of temporary pain relief while they dealt with issues such as the onset of teenage pregnancy or finding it difficult to deal with the withdrawal symptoms of quitting marijuana.

It would be great if we could take all of the possible benefits of CBD – including the fact that it has no side effects so long as you stick to the recommended dosage. However, if you are experiencing chronic pain, you may want to consider trying some of the alternative treatments available.

Whether you choose to use CBD oil to help manage your chronic pain, or find another solution, you’ll be able to find relief from the discomfort that comes with the prolonged use of prescription pain medications.
